Sous Chef - Independent Restaurant - Cambridge - 30k Package A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join this amazing Restaurant which serves some of the most amazing steaks and burgers. The Restaurant is proud to serve succulent steaks and beautiful burgers, simply presented and packed with flavour. It's a busy restaurant serving brunch, lunch and dinner. As the Sous Chef you will assist chef with the general running of the kitchen and brigade. You will need to have creative flair and create plates of food that keep customers back for more. You will oversee the day to day preparation and planning of the kitchen and brigade for service, this is a role for a hands on Sous Chef. The ideal candidate will from a similar venue or a quality fine dining restaurant that delivers high volume whilst maintaining high standards. Essential skills required are management skills, menu development, costings and all paper work associated with running a professional kitchen. You will be a good motivator and a great leader passing on skills and knowledge to junior members of the brigade.
