Our client is a market leading and fast moving Telecoms industry success story, covering the UK. They are a dynamic and expanding, specialist Telecommunications Company focused on 'the customer', the design, implementation and support of multi-site telecoms systems for mid to large enterprise companies. As part of their expansion plan, they now seek an additional Mitel MiVoice Office 250/5000Field Telecoms Engineer (home based in/around London & Home Counties to join their Technical Team.

This a flexible role in both installing and maintaining the installations of the company's database. The employee may man the Tech Desk from time to time advising customers on general matters and remote diagnostics of faults and resolution of the same. It is possible that the candidate would be asked to be on call for the company's extended hours contracts, on a rotational basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

*Ensuring customer service excellence is delivered at all times
*To carry out installation and maintenance work to customer telephony solutions, ensuring everything done is with the customer as the central focus
*Be aware of their own work load and assist in managing the solutions they are involved in
*Be aware of their weekly diary and ensure they are equipped to carry out each task as required
*Ensure open communication is made with other engineers and colleagues at all times
*Be polite and courteous, listening to the customer and plan how to deliver the solution in the most efficient manner - often suggesting possible improvements to the customer solution
*Complete job sheets with customer sign off and email to the admin/service team immediately in order for the job to be closed down, invoiced if required and called the next day for verification
*Call in once the job has been completed so the teams are aware and can allocate the next job as necessary
*Contribute to the quarterly engineers meetings
*Keep accreditations up to date
*The ability to work from home from time to time
*There may be a requirement to travel throughout the UK and overnight stays may be necessary

Skills Required:

*An excellent grounding in the telecommunications industry with good knowledge of IP technologies and topologies with an in-depth knowledge of VoIP telephony.
*Must be able to interact confidently with customers
*Ability to communicate complex issues at all levels
*The holder of this position must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and working as part of a team with a common goal being key attributes in assisting the company to succeed in the delivery of complex voice solutions.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

*Up to date manufacturer accreditation on at least of one of the products as a minimum;
*MiVoice Office 250/5000
*Mitel/Xarios Phone Manager
*CSM, MiCollab, MBG etc.
*Avaya IP500/IP Office
*A minimum of three years field engineering experience, installing and maintaining complex voice solutions in a variety of customer environments
*The ability to problem solve in a logical manner in order to rectify customer issues efficiently
*An in depth working knowledge and capability of understanding customer LAN/WAN infrastructures and the ability to assist in the design, delivery and support of voice applications using these technologies
*The ability and drive to learn and work with new technologies and products as required

The successful applicant would ideally be located London / Essex / Herts / Beds / Bucks
