This company is one of the UK's largest manufacturers and suppliers of high quality polythene, plastic products and bags with a wide range of applications for UK and European Markets.

They are looking to recruit an experienced, time served multi skilled electrical maintenance engineer, to maintain/repair their machines, in order to maintain high production levels with minimum down time, whilst adhering to health and safety procedures.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with HASAWA in so far as they deal with matters that are in their control
- Understand and implement Safe Working Practises
- Ensure it is safe to commence/continue with work at hand
- Be responsible for the safety of himself and of others at the place of work
- Undertake all breakdown repairs as necessary
- Day to day preventative maintenance of plant
- Fault diagnosis and appropriate repairs
- Assist with effective running of the shift whenever necessary
- Advise Chief Engineer of parts used in order to maintain adequate stocks
- Complete PM/Maintenance shift reports to identify work done/required
- Planned/unplanned cover for department as required
- Ensure to carryout all activities in a safe and controlled manner in accordance with the Companies Health and Safety policy
- Carry out any reasonable task required by employer

Key Skills:
- Must have previous experience in a similar environment
- Maths and English, PC Skills
- Excellent communicator and ability to work within a team or alone
- Be initiative, proactive and motivational,

Hours of work: average of 42hrs per week, 12hr shifts rotating days/nights
