A Shipping and Inventory Co-ordinator is required to join a technology company creating ground-breaking new hardware, software and apps for the film and television industry. Fast-growing, ambitious and with an increasing number of acclaimed design and innovation awards to its name, the company is working with Blue Chip companies to create waves in this exciting market.
They are looking for a professional, highly organised, self-motivated individual with the following skills and experience:
- Must have excellent organisation and time management skills
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Must be pro-active in achieving targets and goals without supervision as part of a small team
- PC Literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of Sage and (or) other accounting and CRM systems an advantage
Core Tasks
- Prepare and pack sales orders ready for shipping
- Liaise with couriers to arrange collection of orders and to ensure orders are shipped to meet customer expectations
- Handle communications with couriers and customs to ensure quick clearance of deliveries when required
- Receive deliveries and book in stock against the appropriate Purchase Order
- Closely monitor inventory to ensure a healthy stock of sales and service items at all times
- Book stock in and out against their computerized system and carry out regular stock takes to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Generate purchase orders and place orders with suppliers when stock levels run low
- Control demo stock levels and assign units to users
