Our client is looking for an IQA / QA Manager for the Cambridge and Norfolk areas.
You will be an experienced and qualified IV and hold the IQA, V1 or D34 Quality Assurance / Verifier Award.

You are required to have excellent organisational and people skills and have the ability to lead a team in order to fulfil the policies and practices of the Organisation.

You will be overseeing this small area team in its implementation of the smooth running of the Organisation and the ethos of the role is to be pro-active; on the frontline averting any imminent problems that could occur with Assessors' / processes. There will be opportunities for growth and expansion of this role.

Your duties will be:

* Carry a small caseload dependent upon number of Assessors under your supervision
* Internal verification of the Assessors learners' work
* Support as required for preparation of audits
* Support the preparation for EV visits
* Conducting probationary reviews / appraisals and observations of Assessors
* Coordinate Assessors' Leave in your designated area of authority- forward all holiday requests to Senior Lead IV/QA Manager
* Support/train new Trainee Assessors/Assessors in conjunction with the Senior Lead IV/QA Manager
* Prepare and deliver group training meetings as required
* Troubleshoot problems / complaints with learners and mangers
* Challenge Assessors who are not keeping to their set targets and report accordingly to Senior Lead IV/QA Manager
* Support problem learners who require extra support if necessary
* Supervise handover/support in conjunction
* Monitor Assessors' diaries, e-portfolios, CT and RT reports

About the employer:

The company have a head office in Birmingham although they operate throughout the UK. They employ around 20 Admin staff and 50 Assessors.

The company offer training in Health and Social Care, Business Administration, Customer Service, Management and Team Leading predominately.

Hours: Office hours - 9 - 5 Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 4pm Friday. Flexibility required

Holidays: 20 days per annum + 8 days BH

Salary:£21,000 to 23,000 per annum

Travel:Home & field based role with travel throughout Cambridge and Norfolk. Business mileage paid
