The role involves assisting the Financial Controller with the self accounting for all departments and the hotel business
Assistant Financial Controller:
• You will be required to assist the FC in managing the P&L and Balance Sheet, budgeting, forecasting, sales ledger, purchase ledger, debtors list and payroll.
• You will be expected to assist the FC in managing the accounts dept, deliver finance training to other Heads of Department within the hotel and liaise with the Reception and Nights Teams with regards to night audit, cash handling, billing and payment practices.
• You will have previous experience in finance in a similar sized property.
• Assistant Financial Controllers must have excellent communication skills, be a team player and enjoy a hands on role.
• Experience within a hospitality background is beneficial as well as experience using SAGE 200 accounting system, SAGE Payroll and Opera.
