We are looking for an enthusiastic early years practitioner to join our Nursery. The successful applicant will take a shared responsibility for the welfare, learning and development of a group of children within the Nursery, working with initiative and creativity to foster an environment that encourages the children’s all round development.
We would like you to join us as soon as possible, we are a friendly team and will give you a full induction. You will be working in a lovely two room setting that has been fully refurbished.
Ideally you will have practical knowledge of planning experiences that meet the requirements of the EYFS Statutory Framework and a commitment to ongoing professional development. You will demonstrate good interpersonal skills together with an ability to be a supportive member of our Nursery team.
Experience of working with children with additional needs would be an advantage, as would holding GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
The post will be for 32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year) - 8.30 to 15.30 each day excluding lunch break; the salary range is £16,407 to £19,194 (pro rata) depending on experience, the actual salary range is £12,753 to £15,186. A recognised Level 3 qualification in childcare and education is essential.
