Opportunity for an outstanding Teacher of Philosophy and Religious Studies to play a key role in this popular subject, within a well-resourced department where class sizes are small, extra-curricular programmes are lively and academic results are excellent.

Contributing to the department's continued success, you will use your excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills to build a good rapport with our pupils and deliver a curriculum which covers a variety of subjects in Year 9, IGCSE Religious Studies and Philosophy of Religion and Ethics in the Sixth Form.

The requirements for this role are flexible and the position could equally suit:

• A teacher who wishes to play a full part in the life of this seven-day week boarding school, by taking on responsibilities in addition to classroom teaching, for example coaching sport, tutoring in a boarding house, CCF;
• A teacher who wishes to have responsibility only for classroom teaching and its associated tasks, but not have any extra-curricular role.
