We are a forward-looking College of Further & Higher Education that serves a large area of South East England with a wide range of vocational and academic courses, both full and part time. The College is situated in Ewell, close to Epsom in Surrey, and is located in the green belt near Epsom Downs and can easily be accessed either by car (junctions 8-10 on the M25) or rail (Ewell West is close and the college is next to Ewell East where you can get regular direct trains to Clapham Junction and Victoria). The College was last inspected in February 2016 retaining its overall grading of 'Good' under the robust new Ofsted standards.

We are currently recruiting to the following position:

Carpentry Assessor (Apprenticeships)

Are you an individual who wants to use their skills and expertise to help develop others aspiring to reach their personal goals and career ambitions? If you are we want to hear from you! We are looking for inspirational Apprenticeship Assessors to deliver and promote Apprenticeships in Construction.

We are looking for individuals with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to build effective external relationships and work independently. You will be delivering high quality vocational training to a diverse range of learners aspiring to be successful in their chosen field.

Previous relevant vocational experience is required, together with a recognised industry NVQ qualification to level 3. Applicants should have experience of assessing in the relevant area and have a working knowledge of Apprenticeships. Applicants must hold their AQA/A1 Award (or equivalent) and a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one).

You must be IT literate with a knowledge of Microsoft office applications. You will need to own a car and possess a full UK driving license.
