Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Field Service Manager to join their installation and maintenance company based in Warrington, WA1.
Position Summary:
As Field Service Manager your key responsibility will be the management of all Engineering and field based activities including sub contractors, both in the U.K and worldwide.
Additionally your key remit will include;
• Ensure that all Engineering activities and commitments are met on time, in a cost effective manner, including resource management and support Engineers both technically / operationally
• Plan, develop and implement a strategy for engineering management / development so as to meet agreed organisational performance plans within agreed budgets
• Continuous update of operational database and maintenance of administrative tasks
• Dissemination of information to ensure that all relevant staff are informed and are aware of customer contractual requirements
• Ensure that all Engineering staff is trained to the necessary level to meet current and projected contracts
• Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of Engineering management and development
• Manage and develop direct reporting staff
• Ensure activities meet and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care
• Preparation and presentation of reports to other members of the management team as necessary
• Maintain excellent customer relations through provision of information and attending meetings as appropriate

The successful candidate will hold the required skills and experience to thrive within this role, including;
• Experience within a similar role is desirable
• Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate across all levels
