NPI Engineer

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven NPI Engineer who wishes to progress within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm based in Coventry. They are offering the successful NPI Engineer an excellent salary package of £19,000 - £20,000 per annum.

Privately owned for over 35 years, and now one of the UK’s leading & multi award winning Engineering companies, our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic NPI Engineer to join their busy and expanding team based in Coventry.

NPI Engineer Responsibilities

- Model/drawing creation

- BOM creation

- Customer Contact

- Error proofing of products

- Creation of the Quality Control documentations, standard operation procedures, shop floor part/program modification forms and the Company technical systems knowledge, Skills, Experience

Knowledge, Skills, Experience needed to become their NPI Engineer:

- Knowledge of Solid-works 2D/3D design software or similar

- Knowledge of a Tru Tops programming is an advantage

- Knowledge of Microsoft office

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, geometric tolerances and weld notes

- Ability to use software to increase efficiency of manufacturing

- Good organisational and time management skills

- Ability to work as part of the team

Ideal candidates must have excellent organisational, numeracy and computer literacy skills and the ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings to discuss solutions and be able to prepare and submit quotations in a professional manner

Working Location/Environment

Coventry , travel to their other sites may be required to suit business needs.

NPI Engineer Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4pm and Friday 7:30am-3pm.  39hrs per week
