JOB TITLE: Trainee CAD Technician
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive dependent on experience and skills
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm

THE COMPANY: Our client are Chartered Surveyors located in Haywards Heath and is one of the country's leading survey practices in the measurement of buildings. Their surveyors are equipped with the very latest surveying technology allowing for high precision data capture.

Due to continued successful growth they are now looking to recruit a permanent full time Trainee CAD Technician to work at their office in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.



THE ROLE: For the Trainee CAD Technician's positionyou will beinvolved in producing Topographical and Measured Building Surveys in both 2D and 3D once data or findings have been captured by Surveyors.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career within the surveying industry, and for someone looking to excel in this role to develop their career. For the right candidate full training will be provided and enrolled onto an AutoCAD training course to further develop their skills.



THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Trainee CAD Technician role must be well educated and hold 5 GCSE A-C grades (or equivalent) including in English & Maths. You must be a self motivated person who is keen to develop this role into a career and undergo training to further their skills.

Experience using AutoCAD would be beneficial but is not essential as for the right candidate, training and courses will be provided.


Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Trainee CAD Technician role in Haywards Heath, West Sussex :-
  • Must be well educated and hold 5 GCSE A-C grades (or equivalent) including in English & Maths
  • It is essential you are mature, reliable and willing to invest time to training in order to develop your skills
  • Although not essential, previous experience using AutoCAD and creating 2D and 3D drawings would be beneficial
