An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join our client, an established supplier of safety and security solutions. 

Our client exports to over 40 countries, supplying specialist equipment to their diverse international customer base. The company is committed to designing, engineering and delivering quality products and services based on their advanced industry knowledge. Our client prides themselves on their understanding of the issues that affect both their customers and staff. They have a genuine enthusiasm for what they do and their aim is to act as a trusted extension of their customers’ activities and objectives. 

This exciting role is to develop sales of a new line of products that our client will be offering into the UK market to further enhance their portfolio within the fire and rescue services and industrial sector. 

The company seeks an ambitious and highly focused Business Development Executive who can make a significant contribution to a company bringing experience of both standard and customised products. 

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the expansion of this new product brand into the UK Market. 

Key responsibilities: 

- Develop the sales plan and budget for the UK markets for the sale of equipment 
- Implement these plans in a structured and systematic manner to deliver revenue, profit and cash flow 
- Grow sustainable business that continues to increase in value 
- Expand the business across new and existing customers 
- Present the company professionally and generate sales with existing customers 

To be considered, you must have: 

- At least two years’ experience in a field sales or business development role 
- Consultative sales experience 
- A track record of selling at director level 
- A full, valid driving licence 

A background that includes experience of fluid movement, fire fighting equipment or similar engineering based products would be beneficial to your application. Experience of the following industries would also be advantageous: oil and gas, petrochemical, marine, defence and fire fighting.
