Milton Keynes College are working in partnership within 28 of Her Majesty's Prisons and Young Offenders Institutes to put education at the heart of the prison system.
The College Offender Learning Recruitment Team have a new vacancy for a recruitment co-ordinator to join their internal recruitment team.
This fantastic new role which will sit within the Offender Learning and Skills recruitment team (OLASS), reporting directly to the OLASS Recruitment Manager. You would be instrumental in the coordination of recruitment vacancies, setting up interviews, liaising with candidates and our regional team, providing exceptional support and customer service at every step of the recruitment process. The ideal candidate will be a forward thinker who is highly organised, process driven and adaptable.
To fully enjoy this opportunity you will have:
- Good basic general education including GCSE (or) equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
- Good IT skills with experience of word processing, spread sheets, databases, email and internet systems.
- A willingness and ability to assume responsibility and to see through detailed tasks.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to motivate self and others.
- Have thinking ability: able to plan, communicate and problem solve effectively.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Working or recent experience working within a recruitment environment (desirable)
- Administration and customer service experience
- Ability to manage Hiring Managers expectations in a professional manner
- Proven experience of producing accurate, reliable and numerate work
Location: Chaffron Way, Milton Keynes.
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: Circa GBP18,000 per annum + fantastic benefits package
