Position: Finance Business Partner
Location: Manchester
Job Type: Contract
Salary: £300 - 450 per day DOE
The company client is a leading retail bank who is currently seeking to recruit a driven and articulate Finance Business Partner to support the FP&A team in the provision of all financial management information within the Group, and partner with a number of key people across the business.This is an outstanding opportunity to achieve a highly lucrative and rewarding career.
Main duties for this role will cover:
* You will support business partnering functions - ad hoc reporting, expense queries, budgeting/planning, underwriting and expenses analysis
* Work closely with the finance team, with the main objective being to liaise with managers and stakeholders within the business
* You will support the overall team in preparation of high quality MI and presentation material
* You will assist in the coordination and delivery of Group and Entity monthly and quarterly results and MI including high quality analysis of trends, variances and performance issues
* You will develop and enhance the quality and timeliness of KPI's and MI for the EC, Boards
* You will support the maintenance and development of the Group planning and forecasting model ensuring inputs are accurately align with planning activity and output from the annual accounting model
* You will support the coordination and scheduling of the quarterly forecast and annual planning process
* You will support the production of regular insightful analysis of the financial results of key competitors highlighting relevant comparison to Company results
* You will help develop process improvements and enhance reporting
* You will assist in any ad hoc work and projects as required
Experience required:
* Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
* Working background in a similar role within the banking sector, or wider financial services experience preferred.
