LOCATION: Knockin, Owestry
JOB TITLE: Estimator
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP48,000 plus car / Health Benefits
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with a degree of flexibility
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a successful privately owned construction business with a dedicated team of construction professionals. They are the largest building contractors in the whole of Shropshire and have been established for the past 43 years.
THE ROLE: As an experienced Estimator you will be building quotations and compileing packages for their contracting teams using estimating software. You will be responsible for giving excellent client and customer service, presenting excellent communication skills and meeting deadlines on a daily basis, as well as building good working relationships with your colleagues.

- Giving excellent customer/client service
- Presenting excellent communication skills
- Using estimating software to build quotations and bids
- Estimating new builds, refurbishments & maintenance and other various types of tenders
- Have close liaison with the Managing Director and the contract delivery team
- Meeting deadlines
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues. You will need to be confident, welcoming and friendly.
Key experience essential for the Estimator role:
- A minimum of 4 years' estimating experience on projects valued up to GBP3 million
- Have a proven ability to undertake concurrent tenders
- Live within a commutable distance to Knockin, Owestry
