Our Client is a leading public service provider, serving thousands of people across – Europe and Australasia. Their core mission is to improve people’s lives. They work in partnership with governments, public sector organisations, private sector companies, voluntary and community groups to deliver a range of front line public services, including employment and welfare, training, education and money and legal advice.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a trainer to join them where you will be responsible for the delivery of traineeships and employability programmes whilst embedding English and Maths. This is a full time position for a fixed term of 6 months covering Barrow, Carlisle and Workington.

As a Trainer you will plan and deliver lessons, ensuring they are high quality, differentiated and following a scheme of work. Using available technology and instructional media to enhance the learners learning experience, you will regularly assess your students work, setting target grades as appropriate. Keeping abreast of developments of teaching techniques and the impact of new technologies in the subject, introducing them as appropriate, you will also be responsible for delivering guidance to members of the group, ensuring full accurate records of learner attainments are kept.

They are looking for someone who has a positive, pro-active and “can do” attitude. With a L4 teaching qualification and experience of delivering course content in a commercial environment, you will be able to use a range of web design and multi-media programs and packages coupled with the ability to motivate students to maximise their potential.

Candidates with an IQA qualification and knowledge of SFA funding and the employability are desirable but this is not essential. What is important is that you are self-motivated and have total commitment in delivering an outstanding learning experience to students.
