Our client is one of the highest performing Colleges in London, rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in June 2016. The College has reinvigorated its focus on improving the student experience, raising student aspirations and delivering consistently good and outstanding teaching, learning and assessment. As a major provider of further, higher and adult education to over 10,000 students, their staff have quality at the heart of everything they do.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Curriculum Administrator to join them and provide administrative support to the Schools, Sections, Lecturers, Technical staff and students to enable the effective delivery of the curriculum and associated activities.

Providing support to students in an assertive and pro-active way, you must ensure high levels of attendance and punctuality, liaising with teaching staff to ensure those with poor attendance are contacted, monitored and supported. Maintaining and updating timetables, registers and attendance data using College systems, you will process pay advice for sessional staff and maintain accurate and timely student learning programme data in response to all funding steams, including FE, HE, WBL, full cost and apprenticeships.

They are looking for an individual who has excellent general IT skills and previous experience of a similar role. With solid knowledge of general office procedures, you will have strong front desk handling skills and experience in responding to routine letters and emails.

With excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach, you will be capable of working under pressure and prioritising tasks effectively. You will need to have familiarity with data protection regulations surrounding student data and ideally have a thorough understanding of quality and improvement processes, in particular, how to improve the student experience.
