Warehouse Operative / Picker / Packer / Loader that works to a high level of accuracy is required for a well-established Distribution Centre based in Welham Green, Hertfordshire.

SALARY: £18,200 + Bonus + Benefits      

BENEFITS: up to 33 days (depending on service) holiday inclusive of bank holidays, Pension Scheme, Life Insurance and Contributory Healthcare

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Warehouse Operative / Picker / Packer / Loader that works to a high level of accuracy.

Working as the Warehouse Operative / Picker / Packer / Loader you will work in one of the Group’s busiest Distribution Centres.

As the Warehouse Operative / Picker / Packer / Loader you will join a fun, friendly and professional team that serves prestigious customers across London and the Home Counties. The Distribution Centre picks thousands of products each day and processes in excess of 10,000 deliveries each month. Due to the nature of the role it will require an individual with a keen eye for detail and good organisation skills.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Warehouse Operative / Picker / Packer / Loader:

• Ensure all picking is carried out in a safe and controlled manner and strive to deliver 100% pick accuracy

• Ensure all delivery vehicles have been loaded safely and correctly

• Ensure weight is evenly distributed throughout vehicle and loaded in the correct order

• Ensure all delivery vehicles are equipped with correct paperwork and equipment

• Ensure that the warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition

• Previous warehouse experience and FLT licence is desirable for this role
