£22K - £30k

Our client is seeking to recruit a confident, experienced and self-motivated field based White Goods Engineer to join a well-established leading independent white goods repair company based in Lancashire.

Position Summary:
As a White Goods Engineer you will be carrying out repairs and diagnostics on a range of white goods including; dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, cookers and tumble dryers.

You will be provided with the latest hand held reporting technology and receive training on our clients main brand products. To allow you to achieve the high level of customer satisfaction expected however you must have your own hand tools.
Your daily responsibilities will include;
• Representing our clients name by delivering exceptional field based customer service
• Responsible for identifying the resolution of customer/product issues in order to repair
• Ensure the effective repair and first time resolution of all in-home repairs
• Providing exceptional customer service through advising clients on the correct operation of their products to enable them to utilise the appliance correctly
• Efficiently diagnose faults with the company’s range of products and rectify as required
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will be self-motivated with a positive attitude who takes pride in their work and holds the required skills / experience to undertake this role including;

• Significant experience to effectively diagnose and repair domestic cooking, cooling, dishwashing and laundry appliances – multi brand experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with North West postcodes will be advantageous
• Own hand tools
• Gas qualified preferred but not essential
• Computer literate and exceptional customer service skills are essential
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate across all levels
• Full UK driving licence
