We’re looking for a forward-thinking individual with recent experience of supporting vulnerable or people with multiple and complex needs to join us as a Key Worker and help significantly improve the lives of our clients.

The Building Better Opportunities Motiv8 project is a new initiative aimed at supporting unemployed or economically inactive people in Greater Manchester who are not engaged with mainstream services.

The project aims to significantly improve lives by reducing health inequalities and overcoming barriers to accessing universal and targeted services.  Outcomes will be achieved through the keyworker delivery model, with each keyworker delivering and coordinating interventions dependant on a variety of needs. These may include money management, health and wellbeing, confidence building, parenting, and promoting healthy relationships.

This post is funded through the Athena Partnership’s (Big Lottery Funded) Motiv8 Project, to support economically inactive people across Greater Manchester to move closer to the labour market.

Benefits include 30 days annual leave, the possibility of flexible working and significant opportunities for learning and development.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with a caseload of clients with multiple complex needs in order to engage them with services
  • Developing co-produced, outcome focused support plans that reflect each service user’s personal strengths and goals
  • Co-ordinating interventions provided by other agencies to make sure the right support is provided at the right time to enable the service user to progress on their journey to recovery
  • Adopting and modelling best practice in working with people who have multiple and complex needs.

And what you’ll need:

  • Recent experience of delivering person centred support to vulnerable people or people with multiple and complex needs within a safeguarding framework
  • Ideally, knowledge of Greater Manchester based services for people with multiple and complex needs
  • A calm, well-organised yet flexible approach, the ability to build good relationships, respect for others and a willingness to challenge the status quo and introduce new ideas, methods and processes
  • Proficiency using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
