10 meetings per year
Surrey Street Primary School is seeking to appoint a Clerk/Administrator to the Governing body as soon as possible.
There are 10 governing body meetings per year, which usually take place between 5.00pm - 7.00pm on a Monday evenings (plus any additional ad hoc meetings as required).
Key duties:
• organising the work of the governing body, including the identification and
scheduling of both statutory and discretionary tasks and scheduling meetings
according to the Governors' Business Planner and Calendar of Events
• advising, as necessary, about Governance Protocol.
• clerking all governors' meetings, which includes:
• assembling agendas and relevant papers
• circulating notifications about meetings, collating attendance responses
and taking action to ensure all meetings are quorate
• making accurate and succinct notes, including points for action, during
meetings and ensuring that notes are circulated in a timely manner
• maintaining and posting documents to the Governors' Hub.
