As a Team Leader in our Riverfield ? store you will play a key role in the smooth, effective running of the store, leading a team of colleagues to ensure the highest standards of customer service and store operating practices are achieved at all times, all the while ensuring the workplace is safe place to work and shop and maintained in accordance with company guidelines.

If you are successful in joining us your role will be varied as you will:



Need to ensure all areas of the store, e.g. check outs, helpdesks are well presented and ready to assist customers in having a great shopping experience
To ensure the store is well presented in readiness for customer trading
Recruit, schedule and train colleagues effectively to support and deliver the best in-store experience for customers
Take personal responsibility to protect the safety of our customers, colleagues and the Company



In order to succeed in this role, you need:



A minimum of 1 years supervisory experience preferably in a retail environment
Adaptable and excellent communication skills enabling a positive land of any message to any audience
To be great at problem solving and have a logical mind, with a proven ability to implement process and procedure
An ability to work methodically, under pressure and have a firm understanding of workload planning and organisational skills
A passion around striving for excellence of standards, people and process
Confidence to drive a team with authority and respect and engagement



The hours per week for this role are 39 hours per week including some weekend working and likely to include working evenings and/or weekends.
