Senior Product Manager - CMS

As Senior Product Manager, Content and Campaign Management, you'll be responsible for providing critical tools that allow business users to create and manage content and campaigns for our customers. You'll design, scope and deliver the tools and systems that help the users create, manage and deploy content and campaigns on to the web and apps. You'll work closely with User Experience, Visual Design, Copy, Engineering and Analytics to define and deliver awesome software within an agile environment.

You'll have significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the business, and will have the opportunity to shape a critical aspect of Argos' platform working cross functionally to deliver a consistent experience to customers across all our digital channels.

As an experienced member of our team we expect you to be able to move seamlessly between technical discussions with engineers and presenting the value of the digital developments to the wider general business audience. We need you to be comfortable and capable of challenging your team and stakeholders in the appropriate way to achieve the best possible customer experience.

We're looking for someone who can display our 6 core competences:

Ability to understand or follow technology being used and the impact of that technology on the experience (can apply the technology to the experience)

• Vision

Ability to see new or better experiences without requiring it to be based on incrementalism.

• Pragmatism

Willingness and insight into scaling back or creating multiple phases, even when the decision means postponing or compromising on a perceived or actual high valued experience. This includes being able to make immediate calls in order to meet customer expectations.

• Stakeholder Management

Ability to simultaneously manage multiple stakeholders with different interests/expectations, various levels of UX, analytics, test and engineering - bringing all parties along on the journey.

• Data Driven

Understands the core and secondary metrics: why we use them, when new ones are needed, how to use analytics to determine where there are issues and what those issues might be in order to provide solution explorations.

• Communication

Ability to clearly communicate ideas, issues, solutions and metrics both in written and verbal form to stakeholders with varied interest and understanding, as well as to the members of the virtual team.

Most of all, someone who is smart, and is genuinely interested in helping customers.
