Frank Recruitment Group is currently seeking a French speaking Paralegal to be based in our Head Office in Newcastle. We are a rapidly growing company with offices in Newcastle (x3), London (x2), Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Singapore and Melbourne. We are only 10 years old and employ nearly 1,000 staff from a variety of nationalities with plans to expand dramatically over the next few years. The Role
This is a role based at our Head Office in Newcastle working closely with the Head of Legal and Group Commercial Director providing commercial support to our UK and International sales teams in the form of documentation and advice enabling them to conduct business and play an integral role in our worldwide expansion.

Responsibilities

At the outset the role will predominantly entail amending agreed requests to country specific terms of business and managing the directory of agreed terms and template library.
The main focus of the role will be translating French documents, reviewing French Terms, negotiating directly with French clients and candidates and recovering debt from our French clients.
As you gain an understanding of their business and industry the role will quickly undertake a broad range of responsibilities:
Reviewing and negotiating all client terms of business through to conclusion.
Drafting documents for company use (NDA's, HR and Company documents).
Composing letters to Clients chasing unpaid invoices and addressing breaches of terms.
Researching new country procedures and legislation to enable the client to provide manpower services.
Providing advice on and monitoring International compliance.
Reviewing global office leases and supplier agreements.
Liaising with external lawyers and solicitors.
Providing advice to management and staff on the company's legal position and response to issues.

Experience
French speaking (Fluent)
Education to degree standard
Clear written and verbal communication skills at all levels are essential.
Assertive personality with good analytical and organisational skills.
Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to ensure confidentiality at all times.
Excellent attention to detail.
Flexibility and reliability is essential

Working Hours 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Mon-Thurs and 9.00 am to 5.30 Fri with 1 hour for lunch but with the flexibility to work additional hours to meet deadlines or complete urgent tasks.
20 days holiday plus 3 days holiday over the Xmas Period and Bank Holidays.
