Experienced Barber / Hairdressing Tutor

Our client is an Award Winning Academy specialising in grooming the hairdressers, barbers, beauty therapists, nail technicians, spa therapists and salon managers of the future.

The Job Opportunity

They are looking for a Barbering / Hairdressing Tutor to support their Apprenticeship Programmes/Study Programmes. The roles will also involve delivering Functional Skills from Level1 to Level 2.

The successful applicants must have 3 years of relevant experience, be enthusiastic, qualified teachers and hold all relevant qualifications.

You must have experience of working in a learning environment and have the ability to deliver good to outstanding quality lessons using a variety of learning activities.

Necessary qualifications:

• Teaching qualification e.g. PTLL’s, Certificate of Education (Cert Ed)
• Functional Skills Level 2 or the equivalent in Maths and English
• Assessor’s award e.g. D32, A1, TAQA
• Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing / Barbering or the equivalent
• Full enhanced DSB check

Hours: Part-time and Full-time available

Location: Merseyside

A fantastic salary package is available depending on experience.
