JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RLDN)



SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP Excellent package available



WORKING HOURS: Full time or Part time



THE COMPANY: Our client, The UK's leading disability charity, has a small 25 bed care home with nursing providing care and support to clients aged 18-65 with physical disabilities in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire. They provide a small, friendly and relaxed environment for both staff and service users.


THE ROLE: This exciting and rewarding position will involve being responsible for the direct supervision of the care team on shift and maintaining a high quality service to all service users.


Key Responsibilities:- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RLDN) Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire

  • Responsible for the formal and daily supervision of care staff.
  • Facilitate and encourage team work within the service.
  • Maintain close working relationships with therapy and ancillary staff.
  • Liaise with outside agencies as part of the multi-disciplinary approach to care.
  • Participate in supervision, staff meetings and training activities.
  • Support service users with their physical care and personal hygiene needs.
  • Ensure service users independence is preserved and developed as far as possible.
  • Liaise with social workers and key workers when conducting service user's reviews.
  • Ensure service users' needs are identified and their aspirations are being met.

You will be a kind and compassionate individual with an enthusiasm to provide a great level of care with a person centred approach. Able to multi task and prioritise your own workload as well as others.


Key skills and experience essential:- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RLDN) Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire



- Qualified RGN, RMN or Registered Learning Disability Nurse with valid NMC pin


- Excellent written and verbal communication in English


- Knowledge of service user self advocacy and empowerment is desirable.


- Due to the location of this role a UK driving license along with own transport would be beneficial.
