LOCATION: Kirk Hammerton, York
JOB TITLE: Care Assistant
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive depending on experience
WORKING HOURS: Full Time + Part time (7.30am - 2pm and 2pm - 8.30pm)
THE COMPANY: Our client is a residential home with 34 spacious, private rooms all with en suite facilities. The home is set in beautiful country grounds, providing gardens and summer houses for their residents. They are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Care Assistants to join their friendly team in Kirk Hammerton, York.
THE ROLE: For the role of the Care Assistant you will be key in assisting in the delivery of support and care for residents. This is a fulfilling and rewarding opportunity with the chance to join a fantastic company who offer excellent development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities for the Care Assistant role to include:-
• To support residents with managing their daily activities
• To support and assist with personal care
• Completing domestic and household duties
• Keeping residents records up to date
• Assist with breakfast and lunch
THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Care Assistant you will be a reliable and flexible team player. You will be friendly, kind, honest, reassuring and an effective communicator. Key experience essential for the role of Care Assistant :-
• Experience of working within a care environment is desirable but full training is provided
• Be able to work weekends
