Sales / Trade Counter / Engineering Sales

Trade Counter / Internal Sales / Engineering Sales based in Barking, Essex offering a salary of £17,000 to £25,000 depending on skills / experience.

We are a well established major distributor of welding products, power tools, PPE and hire equipment.

The role of Trade Counter / Internal Sales / Engineering Sales :

You will be joining a medium sized team of between 10-12 members of staff at our head office depot in Barking. Experience of selling within the Engineering industry would be an advantage, but is not essential. You’ll be committed to delivering a great customer experience and should be highly motivated to take complete ownership of trade counter sales and building a rapport with customers.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Deal with incoming sales and customer service calls and emails
• Working on the trade counter to greet and serve our trade account customers
• Build strong relationships with customers and generate repeat business
• Maintaining and growing the trade account base through excellent customer relations
• Stock and warehouse management
• Achieving sales related targets
• General office duties as required

• Confident with strong customer communication skills
• Passionate about sales
• Well presented
• Good telephone manner
• Ability to work on your own, as well as part of a professional team
• Computer skills
• Must hold a full driving licence
• Forklift experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided
