On behalf of a Stockport Primary School we are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching assistant with experience of working with children in Key Stage One. The role consists of supporting pupils on a one to one basis, working with small groups and also delivering pre-planned whole class lessons. The school promote a friendly and inclusive environment and staff are providers of high quality educational services.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• KS1 experience.
• Experience of leading whole class sessions is essential.
• Be passionate about working with children.
• Have excellent organisation and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Providing teaching and learning support on an individual and small group basis.
• Devlivering lessons from a range of subjects from the National Curriculum set by the class teacher.
• Communicating with the class teacher as well as parents and carers over pupils' progress.
• Assisting with extracurricular activities and be responsible for an after school club.
