Our client is recruiting for an experienced Commercial Manager / Employer Engagement Manager to join their team near Farnborough, Hampshire.

This is a key role in a rapidly expanding Apprenticeships provision. There are big growth plans and this employer are looking for someone experienced to drive the Apprenticeships provision forward.

This role would suit someone that has come from a Training Provider background with strong commercial knowledge, strong business development skills and management experience. A successful, driven and motivated person is required in order to achieve the growth targets that this employer are hoping to achieve. You will also be instrumental in expanding and managing a team of Account Managers.
There is a strong emphasis on Employer engagement as you will be building strong relationships with employers throughout Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and increasing the amount of full cost business and Apprenticeship opportunities available.

OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for liaising with employers and relevant organisations in order to expand the numbers of apprentices on programmes, and increase the programmes offering apprenticeship training. In addition will also develop full cost courses, working with the academic areas to develop delivery methods that help support the needs of employers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop a strong portfolio of Employers and organisations providing trainees/apprentices and students.
* Work with employers and organisations to ensure delivery of appropriate apprenticeships
* Work with senior management to develop the curriculum delivery and full cost work
* Recommend and develop new courses, new training initiatives
* Achieve targets (e.g. Apprentice recruitment numbers, Employer Numbers, Success Rates, Budget etc)
* Work closely with Sales staff to recruit learners
* Manage planning and implementation of marketing strategies
* Plan for SFA changes

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday + flexibility

Holidays: 32 days a year
