About us:
Ty Laura provides respite for parents who care for children with complex Learning Disabilities, Autism and /or complex physical health care needs. It provides outcome focussed, child centred service to the child while a guest at Ty Laura. We are seeking to employ positive, enthusiastic people to work in Ty Laura. We are also interested to hear from people who may not be looking for full time, but would be interested in working weekends or nights only.
Your role:
We are seeking to employ positive, enthusiastic people to work in Ty Laura. We are also interested to hear from people who may not be looking for full time work, but would be interested in working weekend or nights only. To provide support and care to the child, including physical and manual handling, support to administer medication as requires, enable happy and outcome based activities and safeguard both children and staff. To work as part of a team and support the shift lead as required.
What you’ll need:
- Need to have experience of working with children and preferably children with disabilities.
- Min of QCF 2in Health and social care and a willingness to complete QCF 3 within an agreed time scale.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to follow guidance through Care Plans, Risk assessments and medication plans.
- Experience and commitment to work a variety of shifts including wakeful nights mornings and afternoons.
