Permanent, Full Time (38 hours per week)
Our client provides a range of social care, special education, community support and consultancy services in the North West of England. They are now looking to recruit a Senior Community Support Worker at their Bolton Supported Living Service.
Within the role, you will provide a caring, safe, secure and accepting environment that meets the physical, health, social needs and rights of the service users and their families. The service users will have a variety of complex needs that will include learning difficulties, Autism spectrum conditions, mobility, communication, health and social care needs.
With good communication and interpersonal skills, the Senior Community Support Worker will have considerable experience of working with people with disabilities / Autism Spectrum Conditions and have an awareness of their rights and needs. Having worked with families who experience anxiety relating to the welfare of the individual supported, you will be able to undertake the full range of tasks, in a well-planned way that respects and values the service users as individuals. Comprehensive accredited training across a range of disciplines will be made available to the right candidates.
Capable of managing difficult and challenging situations whilst maintaining high standards of care and support, you will be flexible to respond to the needs of the Tenants and have good time management skills to give you the ability to monitor activities. Using your experience of supporting staff and team development, you will be able to provide successful guidance and direction in a way that leads to positive outcomes.
