The Service

Our Bognor Regis Service is split across two registered care homes and includes an outreach service. We support a total of 14 adults with learning disabilities and autism. You can expect the full support of your Service Manager including a comprehensive induction and a personal development plan.

Who we are looking for

We have an opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join us and support individuals to live the lives they choose.  Because we are all different, your role as a Senior Support Worker will be varied - what you do and how you do it will depend on the needs of the individuals you are supporting.  You will have the opportunity to get involved in the leadership of the service, helping to organise rotas, maintain records and supervise colleagues. You will have an opportunity to help the people we support to write person centred support plans.

To be a great Senior Support Worker, you will need to have some previous experience in social care.  You will know that you need compassion, empathy, integrity and to treat people with dignity and respect.  You need to be reliable because people are depending on you, be able to travel between locations and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and overnight as needed.  You also need to be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing and have basic IT and numerical skills.

The benefits

In return for your passion and commitment, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:

20 days paid annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays , pro rata for part time) , which increases after 3 and 5 years service
