Assistant Pricing & Forecasting Manager - Mortgages

These products will complement our existing financial services portfolio, allowing us to support customers with one of the most important purchases in their life. In this role you'll be responsible for the creation, management and pricing of the Mortgages product range as well as supporting the delivery of market share targets in the annual and five year plans.
You'll be:
Managing the delivery of changes to the product range for new lending, further advances and retention products across all stakeholders.
Undertaking analysis to support pricing recommendations
Developing a clear governance process that all product and pricing changes follow.
Supporting the development of the commercial and trading MI for acquisition and backbook.
Managing the delivery of changes to Standard Variable Rate for the mortgage business across all stakeholders.
Carrying out appropriate post implementation testing & checks on sourcing systems etc.
Undertaking analysis to build a deep understanding of backbook profit pools, segment & channel profitability.
Building relationships with stakeholders including sales force, brokers and 3rd party suppliers.
Developing and implementing performance reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) for volume and P&L commitments, including customer numbers, balances, business mix, income, costs, profit and product performance.
Embracing conduct, operational and regulatory risk management as a key responsibility in role.
Identifying role specific risks and driving for appropriate customer outcomes.
Deputising for Pricing Manager and/or Forecasting & Planning Manager, as and when required.
You'll bring:
Strong experience in pricing as well as a strong knowledge in either product/commercial management, risk management, management information or customer analysis.
Good understanding of the financial environment along with retail credit products.
Excellent analytics skills and be advanced in Excel. SAS is also highly preferable.
Mortgage knowledge would be preferred but not essential.
Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
An ability to understand customer needs and be very customer focused.
