Position: Regional Medical Liaison (RML), the Cardiovascular Therapeutic Area
Location: field-based position, covering Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Salary: £396 per day
Job Type: Contract (12 Month)

Job description:
• This role will primarily involve work relating to client’s recently approved PCSK9 inhibitor, as part of a highly visible and critically important UK medical team. As such this role demands an experienced professional with a proven ability to communicate effectively complex scientific matters with stakeholders at all levels.
• The successful candidate must be self-motivated and proactive as well as being a dedicated team-player.
• The RML will interact with key opinion leaders/healthcare professionals to communicate and advance the scientific platform, as aligned with firm's corporate goals, objectives and affiliate medical plans and provide feedback based on those field interactions.
• The RML will foster relationships with key healthcare professionals within various specialties.
• The RML must accurately communicate complex cutting edge, scientific and product information and research concepts to healthcare professionals and support the company's sponsored research.
• The RML will represent the firm's medical department in the field within the Cardiovascular Therapeutic Area in compliance with local and the company's regulatory standards.
Specific educational/software requirements:
• Life Science Degree (min)
• And/ or Masters or PHD
• Excellent IT skills
Preferred qualifications:
• 2-3 years + experience as RML
• Experience in Cardiovascular
• Established networks would be ideal
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Excellent organisational ability
What will be the interview process?
1 hour standard competency based interview and presentation required
Additional information:
• Role covers Scotland and Northern Ireland (NI is small part of the role so travel to Northern Ireland will be max 20% or even less).
• The person would be required to attend the Cambridge Office for team meetings etc.
• Ideal location of candidate -Scotland.
• Require a person who has experience in Cardiovascular and has an already established network
• Role will be field based and HM would consider someone who wants to work 3-4 days per week.
