Position: Front End Developer
Location: City of London
Salary: £45000 - £55000 per annum + Attractive benefits

The company client is a Global leading Financial Services organisation who is currently seeking to recruit a Front-End Developer into their fast growing consumer business based in Central London. The brand is a FTSE 100 company, mentioned by Forbes magazine on numerous occasions, who have a global reach and more than 15,000 employees worldwide. The business is looking to build out an agile team based from London with the remit of developing their Consumer Sites and Applications. The successful applicant will be offered a highly lucrative and rewarding career with a nightly regarded firm going through an exciting transformation.
Key duties will involve the following:
* The role reports directly into the Global Head of Digital Optimisation who holds a wealth of experience and will personally look to develop the successful candidate.
* Take an instrumental role in developing Javascript, HTML and CSS script to apply an optimisation test to web pages.
* Ensure that you meet or exceed all coding standards required for company products as well as attending refinement and daily stand-ups to provide feedback to the acquisitions team.
Technical competencies required:
* Strong experience of working with a web optimisation tool, ideally Adobe Target, or alternatively Maxymiser / Optimizely /Qubit etc.
* Strong HTML/CSS knowledge
* Strong JavaScript knowledge, including jQuery
* General understanding of A/B testing General understanding of web analytics and website tracking
Desirable background:
* Previous experience of writing front-end code for web optimisation campaigns
* Previous experience of working with tag management tools, e.g. Ensighten / Google Tag Manager / Tealium / TagMan etc.
Skills for this role:
* The type of candidate they are looking for is an individual who can demonstrate a hunger to succeed, is highly ambitious and exercises intent attention to detail.
