The company client is a fast growing & innovative FMCG company who is now recruiting a motivated, organised and personable Customer Service Team Leader with experience using EDI and SAP for their highly skilled organisation based in Watford. The key purpose of this role is to lead a team of customer service executives who will be responsible for sales order processing with some of the most well-known UK retailers. This is an excellent opportunity for career development.
Top duties performed include:
* Sales order processing and data inputting - EDI and SAP
* 3PL liaison
* Manage individual customers processes and requirements from order through to delivery.
* Manage order books for the accounts you are responsible for, ensuring on time delivery, accurate data information and minimal back orders.
* Maintain excellent relationships with customers, distribution centre and supply chain team.
* Work effectively as part of a team to achieve individual, team and departmental objectives, sharing knowledge and skills as appropriate.
Background and competencies required:
* Degree Educated or equivalent
* A strong understanding of Retail/FMCG Customer Service with at least 1 years+ FMCG supply chain experience
* SAP and EDI experience
* People management skills
* Highly computer literate - good level of excel
* Customer focused - experience of working collaboratively with key retail customers
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
* Strong team player
* Highly organised and motivated
