Casual Chefs

The Lowry Centre has an exciting opportunity for a range of Casual Chefs to join the team based in Manchester. You will be working casual hours, with a highly competitive salary.

The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.

We require skilled and passionate Casual Chefs of all levels to work in our busy, exciting, vibrant kitchens, preparing a wide range of dishes and styles of foods for our different outlets.

As our Casual Chefs you will prepare, cook and present food across all our catering areas including the Restaurant, Terrace Bar and Conferences and Events, ensuring a consistent high standard of quality. You will be required to assist the existing brigade, working closely with our chefs to maintain the high levels of service provided.

You will be skilled in food handling and storage, stock rotation and maintaining effective quality control systems.  As part of the role you will ensure all health and safety regulations are upheld and as a minimum applicants should possess a Level 2 Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
