A Manchester Primary School is looking to appoint a committed Early Years Professional from October 2016. The Foundation unit caters for 45 children and you will be working alongside 2 experienced support staff.

The school is a large two form entry academy which occupies an inner city location. The Senior Leadership Team promotes a strong community ethos and work hard to ensure that all children have the best chance to fulfil their potential. The successful applicant will share the same views and play an active role in preparing children for subsequent learning opportunities.

Requirements:

• Early Years Professional Status.
• A BA (Hons) In Early Childhood Studies.
• Have effective leadership skills.
• Be creative, energetic and caring.
• Excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, preparing & delivering the National Curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning goals.
• Providing engaging and interactive lessons.
• Support and oversee other practitioners in the classroom.
• Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress.
• Assisting with extracurricular activities, such as trips, sporting events, clubs etc.
