This is a great opportunity for a skilled Teaching Assistant to support a mixed Year 1/2 class in a Stockport Primary school from October 2016. The role is part time and you will be required to work 25 hours per week during term time and assist with the supervision of lunchtimes.

Requirements:

• Has experience of working with children in a school environment.
• Is creative, enthusiastic and dynamic.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Has the desire to make a difference and help children achieve.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting individuals and groups of children with their work under the direction of the class teacher in and out of the classroom.
• Midday duties such as supervising children during their break time and lunch times.
• Preparing resources and carrying out general administrative tasks such as filing, copying etc.
• Feeding back on children's performance to class teacher.
