SUPPORT WORKERS REQUIRED IN TUNBRIDGE WELLS
We are recruiting a pro-active and reliable support worker to work with a delightful 2 year old boy, with profound physical disabilities and complex medical needs.
We are looking for experienced and loving people who are comfortable working within a family home. Whilst ‘B' is profoundly disabled he is showing an ever increasing understanding of the world around him and shows good recognition of people closest to him. It is important that we have positive and nurturing people to join ‘B's wonderful care team. ‘B' requires close observation throughout the night and all care plus regular suctioning. When unwell he will also need oxygen.
We are able to offer a minimum contract of 36.75 hours a week covering waking nights and day shifts. Night shifts are 7:30pm-7:45am and day shifts 7:30am-7:45pm. Experience of working with children, with profound disability is desirable but training will be provided. All posts are subject to DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
Rates: £12.00 p/h weekdays and £14.00 p/h weekends.
