Experienced Journalist

A rare opportunity for an experienced journalist to become one of the faces of ITV Cymru Wales' award winning team as an on-screen journalist.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in original journalism and great story-telling as well as sound knowledge or broadcast regulation and the law.

High quality self-shooting and editing skills are essential to the role.

You will be home-based within the West Wales patch and immerse yourself in the local communities, developing great contacts and generating comprehensive coverage.

To be a successful candidate, you will have a strong background in journalism and a proven track record in producing original stories at a local level.

You will have excellent editorial judgement and you will be a first
class communicator who can build relationships with contacts to bring in original news stories.

You must be a self-starter who is comfortable with lone-working and travelling around the patch.

You will be willing and enthusiastic about developing camera and editing skills to complement the news gathering and story-telling skills that you already possess.

We are a multi-platform operation so you will be enthusiastic about developing an online presence through our web sites and via social media interaction.
