Position: Assistant Company Secretary - ICSA
Location: City of London
Salary: £50000 per annum + bonus and benefits

Our company client is a leading general insurance business who are actively seeking to take on board a highly motivated and tenacious Assistant Company Secretary to provide support to the board and committees, statutory/regulatory compliance function and to and keep core corporate records up to date and accessible. This is a unique opportunity to join a widely respected brand in a period of fast paced change.
Key duties for this role will involve the following:
* To act as secretary to the Board and its Committees including managing schedules and agendas, production of papers and taking all minutes.
* Manage the board, committee and executive meeting calendars (under the supervision of the Executive PA).
* Monitor, prepare and submit all statutory and regulatory filings and notifications ( FCA & PRA), liaising with other divisions as required.
* Rationalise, organise and keep up to date corporate records (excl. financial data and underwriting).
* Establish and maintain a comprehensive document library.
* Assist the Group Legal Counsel and Group Head of Risk & Compliance in drafting papers on relevant subjects for management.
* General administrative assistance for the legal & compliance team as required.
Essential background and skill set:
* Experience working with boards/committees and taking formal minutes within the financial services arena.
* If you are partially or fully ICSA qualified it will be a distinct advantage
