Our client is one of the UK’s largest distributors of leading branded and own-branded medical consumables to all areas of the healthcare market. Part of the fast growing FTSE 100 international and outsourcing group, they offer a range of traditional and bespoke supply chain solutions to meet their customers’ requirements in today’s rapidly changing healthcare environment.
They are now looking to appoint a Warehouse Operative who will be responsible for placing goods into storage, picking stock and consolidating orders.
Working in a manner that enables them to provide the best possible service to their customers, you will assist in loading assembled orders onto vehicles, ensuring that the payload is within limits for the vehicle, the permissible axle weights are not exceeded and that goods are safely loaded for transportation and delivery.
They are looking for an individual who has a strong customer focus and who can demonstrate a genuine interest in ensuring the needs of their customers are met. With an excellent work ethic, you will have the ability to maintain working relationships and be willing to share information and resources with others.
With a high degree of attention to detail and a methodical approach to work, you will operate at a pace that matches the requirements of the business and recognise the importance of timely completion of tasks.
Previous warehousing experience is not essential.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 14:45 until 23:15. They do ask that the successful candidate is flexible to work extra hours our help out in areas outside of the role as and when required.
