Our client is a market leader in the manufacture of innovative and high quality medical devices. They are also part of a global Plc and a major global force in a range of healthcare and health & safety related markets. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join their team. 

If you are a project manager with experience of overseeing technical product development, this is a brilliant opportunity to take on an exciting, new challenge. 

In this important role, you will have the chance to directly influence a successful company’s product range and become a key player in their ongoing success. 

As the Project Manager, you’ll be tasked with leading our client’s new product development initiatives, from initial concept through to manufacturing. 

Managing projects in-line with ISO standards, you’ll liaise with the Product Manager to ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget and to customers’ requirements. 

Additionally, your other duties will involve:

- Developing and/or approving all project plans 
- Managing any project risks by focusing on technical challenges and project delivery timelines 
- Building credible external project delivery channels 
- Reviewing and reporting on project progress, spend, risk and design changes

To be considered, you must have: 

- Experience of project managing commercial technical product developments
- Previous experience of project management software tools, ideally MS Project 
- A degree (or equivalent) qualification in an engineering or scientific discipline 

As the Project Manager, you must be a confident, collaborative team leader with exceptional influential and communication skills. Superb time-management and prioritisation abilities are also key. 

A project management certification would be beneficial to your application, as would experience within an electro-mechanical, medical devices or scientific environment.
