Due to expansion and retirement, our client is now seeking a Group Head of Purchasing to join their team in Falkirk.

THE ROLE:Our client is seeking a Group Head of Purchasing to join their team in Falkirk. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for managing and leading the selection, promotion and merchandising in the buying of all product ranges for the company. You will be visiting suppliers in the UK and abroad, as well as the garden centres.

Key Responsibilities to include:

• Selecting product ranges for the company
• Promotion of the product ranges
• Merchandising
• Travelling throughout the UK and abroad, visiting suppliers and the garden centres

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Group Head of Purchasing position will have relevant experience in retail purchasing and possess advanced IT skills. You will have extensive experience of EpoS systems, strong negotiating skills and have the flexibility to visit suppliers in the UK and abroad.
