They are now looking for a number of Laboratory Shift Technicians to join their newly developed site in Grangemouth.

As Laboratory Shift Technician you will be responsible for carrying out the analysis of oil and gas samples. Key duties to include:
- Analysing a variety of oil, gas and effluent samples in accordance with ASTM and IP procedures
- Prepare and test quality control samples, to standardise reagents and solutions and to calibrate equipment as required to carry out the analysis
- Verifying and communicating results obtained, to make appropriate entries in the required records and to generate reports for release to customers
- Collect, receive and log in samples to the required systems for analysis
- Maintain documentation as required to meet various accreditation's such as ISO17025
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous laboratory experience, ideally in the oil and gas industry. Criteria to include:
- A level or equivalent in Science
- Experience of oil and gas testing
- Good communication, problem solving and organisational skills
- Familiarity with ASM and IP test methodologies
- Full UK driving licence
