Valeter & Car Cleaner - for car rental company

This is an opportunity to join a professional, family run car & van rental company operating throughout the Surrey, Hampshire and South London. They currently have 11 branches running over 1,300 vehicles. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding company. They require a full-time Vehicle Valeter to work at the Ash branch near Aldershot.

What you will be doing:

- Providing vehicle demonstrations to customers prior to them renting the vehicle - (training can be provided)
- Fully Valeting vehicles that have returned to the Depot
- Checking vehicles back in from hire
- Monitoring fuel levels.
- Moving/delivering vehicles between Branches

What they expect from you:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Automotive knowledge would be advantageous.
- Flexibility to work additional hours to meet business requirements where needed.
- Full driving licence.

Live within a 10 mile radius of the Branch to reduce travel time to work.

The successful candidate should possess the necessary skills to work as part of a vibrant and hard-working team, but also able to work on your own initiative. Previous experience in a car or van rental company is desirable, but not essential as we will provide the necessary training.

The applicant needs to be an enthusiastic person who works well with a small team that can look after their customers and show them the vehicles before they hire them, prepare their vehicles ready for rent to a high standard and keep themselves busy.

The business opening hours are: Mon-Fri 8-6pm, Sat 8-12noon, Sun 8-9.30am. This is a permanent position with overtime on a working rota. They offer a good rate of pay, a bonus for Sunday working (based on the number of vehicles rented out) paid holiday, a free uniform and a generous staff discount on personal vehicle hire. Rate: £7.90 basic (first 40 hours) with over time rate at £9.95
