This provider of workwear management software is currently looking for a lead designer to take over the development of their websites and online stores. You would be joining their small team based in Northampton.

You will be responsible for maintaining and developing their high quality systems, working across the entire development lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of web development, including project management
- Develop and oversee the development processes ensuring that systems/code are delivered to agreed timescales, quality and in line with their agreed priorities
- Manage the development of the Company website ensuring development standards are met at all times and security is maintained
- Design, schedule and deliver new and enhanced web applications
- Build, test, implement and maintain web-based applications/services, troubleshooting web application and infrastructure problems to reach resolution as required.
- Discuss and recommend technical developments to improve the quality of their website/portal and supporting infrastructure.
- Ensure that technical documentation is created and maintained to a high standard
- Develop an understanding of existing information systems and consider opportunities for future development for web/portal solutions
- Keep abreast of new technology for future-proofing applications and infrastructure, sharing knowledge with colleagues as appropriate
- Carry out risk analysis of introducing new technology for development and infrastructure, to ensure suitable security as required on web development projects.
- Monitor the ongoing performance of web applications and infrastructure
Essential qualifications, skills and experience required:
- Ability to design web pages, CSS, JPEGS and GIF's. Able to use adobe Photoshop.
- Ability to use Angular Materials a benefit.
- Ability to reproduce company logo's and apply work to the design theme laid out by their customers.
- Ability to produce artwork for safety signs and also company logo's for garment decoration.
